Applications
- Topographic mapping
- High resolution orthophotos for mine planning
- Thermal mapping for hotspots and anomalies
- Multispectral surveying for noxious weeds, reclamation assessment, and loss area mapping
- Centimeter accuracy volumetric surveys for stockpiles
- Road design and planning
- Reclamation planning and recontouring
IN THE WORLD OF HIGH VOLUME EARTH MOVEMENT, even a few cents per cUBIC METEr adds up quickly! a FEW EXAMPLES OF OUR SERVICES are:
- Georeferenced 3-D orthomosaics of active mining areas assist in accurate planning by providing both a topographic surface model and high resolution aerial photo. On average, we are able to fly 40-50 acres per hour.
- Stockpile volumes are an important aspect of this industry, whether for volumetrics and planning or financial requirements. Stockpile surveys take a similar time to conduct as conventional GPS surveys, due to the high overlap and processing time. Although not required for every industry, the advantage is in the high density of survey points (10s to 100s per square meter) to increase accuracy and the orthrorectified aerial photos.
- Multispectral surveys have proven to be a very effective way to measure and present plant health, crop cover, and even plant height, with an increased expectation on reclamation performance we have the technology to ensure you're comliant and cost efficient.
